Founded by Belizean partners - Carlo Arguelles and Daniel Arguelles, International Environments Ltd. (i.E.) strives to bring innovative and unique design solutions in architecture and urban development.
As the i.E. team continues to practice within the developing landscape of Belize on projects that range in scale and scope, i.E. constantly strives for the integration of both design and environment to promote the advancement of not only construction, but buildings as they affect the development of a country. Belize today is a developing nation growing rapidly. As a Belizean firm i.E. has a definite interest in advancing and shaping the cityscape within our country as well as, the image our buildings convey.
Heritage Point offered a unique opportunity for i.E. to create not only a high quality living environment along the coastline of Belize City, but to also introduce a prototype for successful multi-unit living within the country of Belize. The high level of quality in planning, design and construction methods will offer a living complex built with the innovation of international standards set within the tropical simplicity of the Belizean mainland and the Caribbean Sea.
Locally, the office has worked on single family and multi-unit residential buildings within Belize City, Belmopan (the Capital), and the island of San Pedro. i.E. is committed to the challenge of diversifying the housing typology of its' country, moving from the single detached living experience, to that of a carefully designed living complex offering support services and a higher standard of unique urban development. Heritage Point will be one of the first opportunities to realize this ideal as a built work of distinction within Belize City.
